Bosak is Back

Dianna in graduation regalia

As part of completing her degree from Boston University's entry-level OTD program, Dianna has returned to Chicago to complete her capstone project in CPERL with Mary serving as her site mentor. Dianna's doctoral capstone is currently titled, An Entrepreneurial Approach to Training Knowledge Brokers Within Occupational Therapy Relevant Research Spaces, and involves formative evaluation of our lab's innovative approach to strengthening and diversify research engaged workforce capacity relevant to occupational therapy.

This project is a full circle moment as Dianna shares, "My initial work in CPERL on the YC-PEM user guide was funded through the first sponsored contract with CanChild. For me, it is really great to be back in the place where my research journey began and with the people who have inspired my continued involvement in research. It felt fitting that I complete my capstone at CPERL."

Dianna is our first CPERL alumnus to return for advanced mentored training, the seeds of which were planted when she gave an invited talk at our lab meeting last Fall to get feedback on her career trajectory. We could not be more delighted to have her with us this Summer and look forward to continued collaboration.
