CPERL prepares to welcome Carla

CPERL welcomes Carla Lage as a PhD student joining our team! Carla is a BIPOC pediatric occupational therapist completing a master's of research degree in Health Sciences in Australia. She brings considerable mentored research experiences to build readiness for her doctoral degree path, and has demonstrated a commitment to improving family-centered care to foster a more inclusive and collaborative culture within pediatric re/habilitation organizations. Carla is set to start her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences program of study in January 2023, when she will contribute to one of the aims of an active mixed-methods project funded by an AHRQ R01, focusing on mechanisms of family-centered care coordination in EI.
