CPERL Receives CSU Ventures Creative Works Funding
Their proposal, titled "Improving Uptake of a New Patient-Centered Assessment and Web-Based Care Planning Guide for Children with Special Health Care Needs", was 1 of 9 proposals considered for funding in this round. Mary Khetani and the CPERL team obtained $12,600 for collaboration with Eric Tisdale (CHHS IT) and Craig Spooner (CCP). Together, they will optimize the initial build of an accessible and fully linked web-based intervention planning guide (PEM+) to improve participation-level outcomes among parents of children with developmental disabilities and delays.
Disclaimer: This story was published when CPERL was housed in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Colorado State University (CSU). CPERL is now housed in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), effective 9/1/2015. This award was accepted and partially declined due to change of institution. A newly established collaboration with the Center for Behavioral Intervention Technologies (CBITs) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine will support continued work on PEM-Plus.
