CPERL Receives Grant from the American Occupational Therapy Foundation

The CPERL team, in partnership with colleagues at Tufts, McMaster, and McGill universities, were awarded a grant from the American Occupational Therapy Foundation (AOTF). Their project will examine how feasible and effective PEM-Plus (PEM+) is when used by caregivers of children with developmental disabilities and delays. PEM+ is a web-based application that is designed with and for caregivers to help with planning their child's care. PEM+ can be completed in the comfort and privacy of caregivers' homes with the option to receive professional coaching support.

Disclaimer: This story was published when CPERL was housed in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Colorado State University (CSU). The AOTF grant was declined due to change of institution and awarded again in the next funding cycle. This project will begin July 2016.
