CPERL Welcomes Varun
We extend a warm welcome to Varun Maheshwari to the CPERL team! Varun holds his bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering and is working towards his MS in Management Information Systems at UIC. He has a strong interest in pursuing a career at the intersection of data science and healthcare, and his transition to CPERL will allow him to expand on that interest through research specific to healthcare technologies targeting the delivery of participation-focused pediatric re/habilitation. Varun brings new knowledge and skills to optimize the technology-based interventions we will be testing to advance family-centered and participation-focused pediatric re/habilitation practice. As important, he shows curiosity and a strong desire for mentorship in the team science model.
