CPERL Welcomes Vivian
Vivian Villegas has joined CPERL! She is an MS/OTD student in her second year at UIC. She will be completing practicums in CPERL and at one of our local community partners, to build foundational skills for completing her capstone project.
For her project, Vivian will engage stakeholders to optimize a feature of PEM+, a promising e-health tool to support (re)habilitation practice and family-centered care. This research-relevant project is the second in a series of research and product development projects in our lab, thanks to our Andrea Gurga for creating the roadmap.
Vivian has on-boarded quickly this Spring, while still finishing her fieldwork to become a registered and licensed OT. We are excited to have her on our team and to see her future contributions to our lab's work.
