CPERL welcomes Zuri
CPERL is excited to welcome Zuri Salgado as an undergraduate research assistant. Zuri, a kinesiology major and Honors College student, is currently completing her junior year at UIC where Mary serves as her Honors College advisor. As a pre-occupational therapy student, Zuri has acquired an early interest in technology that facilitates family engagement in pediatric rehabilitation. Zuri is currently developing her UIC Honors College capstone project with CPERL, where she will use existing data on caregiver strategy use to optimize PEM+, an online client-centered care planning support for parents of young children. We are excited to see her growth and contributions, including her capstone project. Stay tuned!
