Data Collection Finale

We've reached the finish line for trying out some e-PROs with families enrolled in early intervention, as part of the second aim of our NIH R03 funded project. In total, we were able to enroll 139 participants!

Although we've finished collecting data, our work isn't done quite yet. We're excited to move into the next phases of the research process, such as analyzing the data, disseminating our findings, and planning next steps for this work. As part of disseminating our findings, Briana and our community partners at Rocky Mountain Human Services will co-present a poster at the annual ZERO TO THREE conference in Denver, based on a recently published article, titled Community engagement to pilot electronic patient-reported outcomes (e-PROs) in early intervention: Lessons learned.

As data collection drew to a close, two of our lab members, Weronika and Sara, are transitioning out of our lab. Sara's and Weronika's tenacity, innovation, and teamwork have been crucial to our enrollment success, and we thank them for their valuable contributions to data collection. Sara graduated with her MS degree and is entering clinical practice as an occupational therapist, while Weronika transitions to her second year of an MS/OTD program of study focused on fostering family engagement when working with transition-aged youth with Autism. We can't wait to see what you both do next!
