Dianna receives UIC Honors College grant
In September, Dianna applied for a UIC Honors College Research Grant. We are excited to announce that she was awarded $1,000 to defray costs of disseminating her capstone research project.
This was a new and lengthy process for Dianna, as it entailed putting together a lot of information according to the guidelines set forth by the Honors College. Some of the work did seem tedious at the time, especially when it came to annotating the entire reference list, but it was all worth it.
The grant will allow for open access publishing of her capstone to inform clinical practice. It will also help fund a provider presentation of her results at a local community-based partner to speed dissemination.
