Gearing up to disseminate

This is an exciting time for our lab as team members prepare to share research progress across several national venues this Fall.

Our newest team member, Dianna, assembled a poster for the Canadian OT conference that took place in June.  The poster summarized initial usability of the PEM+. Our collaborator Dana Anaby took the lead in presenting the poster, which resulted in a subsequent speaking invitation.

Jessica was invited to create her second podcast for Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology, this time to introduce a newly published study on determinants of home participation change following pediatric critical illness. She and Andrea are now preparing posters for presentation at the upcoming ACRM conference in October. The poster that they are working on together will report on a study examining types of caregiver strategies commonly used to support a child's home participation following pediatric critical illness.

Briana is preparing to present her very first poster at the ZERO TO THREE annual conference in October. This poster summarizes lessons learned from engaging early intervention providers to implement the PEM e-PRO into their workflow. This work was recently published in the Journal of Clinical and Translational Science. Briana is excited by the chance to co-present this work with our collaborators at Rocky Mountain Human Services, Jodi Dooling-Litfin & Beth Scully.
