Coming soon to the 2024 Joint International Conference on Computational Linguistics, Language Resources and Evaluation (LREC-COLING 2024): the latest NSF publication, CareCorpus: A corpus of real-world solution-focused caregiver strategies for personalized pediatric rehabilitation service design.

Together the NLP team (Natalie and Mina) and the CPERL team (Mary and Vera), are sharing initial proof of concept to automate the classification of caregiver strategies data from the Young Children's Participation and Environment Measure specifically, to personalize rehabilitation goal setting applications for young children experiencing disability. This publication strengthens evidence about automating the classification of Participation and Environment Measure data.

To build on this work, the NSF team is currently nearing completion to confirm and extend the benchmark modeling as introduced in this publication with a larger and more diverse data source.
