Publication alert: Increasing Evidence for Implementing YC-PEM in Early Intervention
After a short time from the good news about the acceptance of one of our manuscripts, we're pleased to announce that our paper titled Increasing Evidence for Implementing YC-PEM in Early Intervention has been accepted to be published in BMC Medical Informatics and Decision-Making. This work was funded by an NIH R03 grant and co-authored by three CPERL team members (past and present): Briana, Mary and Vera. This study aims at estimating the feasibility, acceptability, and value of implementing the Young Children’s Participation and Environment Measure (YC-PEM), a valid electronic patient-reported outcome (e-PRO) measure that is designed to support family engagement when planning care and monitoring outcomes of care. This study shows the promising results that may support the implementation of YC-PEM e-PRO as a feasible, acceptable, and valued option for engaging families in planning the child’s Early Intervention (EI) care.
