Publication Alert: Scoping review on medical home care and educational services for children and youth on the autism spectrum

Coming soon to the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders: the publication entitled, Medical home care and educational services for children and youth on the autism spectrum: A scoping review.

CPERL team members and alum, Sabrin Rizk, Zuri Salgado, Dianna Bosak and Mary Khetani, together with Emmanuel Ngui, examined current evidence on medical home care and its association with educational services for children and youth on the autism spectrum. This study, as previously presented on, provides new insights into the topic of medical home care as it pertains to educational services and suggests knowledge gaps for further research.

Sabrin shares: This accomplishment was not a solo journey, but a reflection of our tenacity and dedication towards advancing high-quality research in the field of autism. The path that this manuscript has traveled, ultimately finding its home in JADD, remains a deeply personal and professional milestone for me.  This adventure will always hold a unique place in my memories from my postdoctoral training phase.
