Sabrin Finishes Dissemination Circuit for Dissertation at AOTA

Sabrin next to her dissertation poster at AOTA

We're back! Leading the way, Sabrin, our B2F post-doctoral scholar, traveled to San Antonio, Texas to attend and present a research poster at the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) conference and expo. This is the first in-person conference that CPERL members have attended since 2019, and we are excited to being back. Sabrin presented on her dissertation, which established knowledge about the adequacy of medical home care and sociodemographic factors in relationship to educational service use among children and youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She co-authored this poster with her dissertation committee, including Drs. Ngui, Benevides, Moerchen and Barnekow, as well as Dr. Mary Khetani, her primary postdoctoral mentor.
