Sabrin secures a UIC IRRPP Faculty Fellowship
We are excited to share that Sabrin successfully competed for a faculty fellowship through the UIC Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy.
Her winning proposal is titled Child Care Access to Health Screenings, Developmental Assessments, and Therapeutic Services in US Children 5 and Under. Her project scope is a logical extension of those foundational studies she has been producing from her doctoral and postdoctoral training phases to motivate her pediatric health services research program, and it will enable her to launch her first line of inquiry within this research program. This project involves use of a prominent national data source and collaboration with a growing interdisciplinary team on campus, and IRRPP will provide additional career development support for supporting her transition to our UIC OT faculty. We want to thank our colleagues in the AHS Research Office for their training support in the pre-award phase.
Please join us in congratulating Sabrin on this milestone moment, and stay tuned for opportunities to engage in exploring ways to contribute to Sabrin's research agenda in the new year.
