Vera and Mary attend and present at premier childhood disability conference

CPERL team members attended and presented at the first combined AACPDM and IAACD conference in Anaheim, California, which brought together a record number of diverse professionals and parents from all over the world for knowledge exchange on cutting edge research in childhood disability. Mary Khetani and Vera Kaelin had the opportunity to co-present a poster on the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary effects of PEM+ with leading scholars on the topic in attendance. Mary also co-presented a symposium on culturally adapting the PEM measures with CanChild colleagues including Dana Anaby and Rachel Teplicky, and partnered to disseminate a poster and paper focused on ongoing research about early intervention service use and outcomes and led by our collaborator Beth McManus.

When not presenting, we attended some powerful sessions and enjoyed great discussion and valuable input from esteemed colleagues to refuel and propel our work forward.
