Bonjour, Paris! Although CPERL's initial plans to attend the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) Congress in-person were adapted due to COVID-19, Vivian virtually attended and presented at the 18th WFOT Congress: Occupational R-Evolution last month.

Congress brought together delegates from over 100 countries worldwide to exchange knowledge and discuss the future of the profession of occupational therapy. Vivian had the opportunity to present a poster about how to culturally adapt assessments for participation focused pediatric practice. This poster was based on the publication that the CPERL team contributed to last year. The proposed process can guide interprofessional care teams and researchers in rigorously adapting participation measures that are suitable for use in their localized cultural context. Given the international venue, information was also shared about how attendees could undertake their own future PEM adaptation projects.

In addition to disseminating this work at WFOT Congress, Vivian is currently creating a knowledge translation video outlining the best practices for culturally adapting PEM for the CanChild Participation Knowledge Hub.
